It was a very last minute wedding! Stepan and Liza hired me a week before their “much talked about in Russia” wedding celebration. Stepan is a son of one of my favorite directors and actors Nikita Mikhalkov and the great actress Anastasia Vertinskaya. Stepan also owns several high end restaurants that are an absolutely must visit when in Moscow. I ate at two and have to say the food was delicious and interior is very tastefully done. Liza is a very successful model, beautiful inside and out, and from the moment I first met her (at her birthday party two days before the wedding) I really liked her.
I want to thank Aga of Aga Images for second shooting. It was Aga’s first time in Russia and all she wanted to see was Lenin 
(Unfortunately Red Square was closed for the Moscow Day celebration). As for me, the last time I was in Russia was six years ago when I received “The Photographer of the Year” Award in Moscow. I have got to say, a lot changed since then for sure!

Liza and Stepan’s first dance was very well choreographed!!
There were a lot of celebrities ( mostly russians that I don’t know) but I recognized Patti Smith who shared a table with Aga and me.
The band Blast is blasting with an amazing light show projected on the Museum.
It took 5 men to carry the cake made in Stepan’s bakery Хлеб & Co
Sergey Mazaev of Moral Codex is my new favorite russian singer! Here is Stepan’s son admiring Mr. Mazaev’s singing.
Grand Fireworks!
I will be away from September 2d and coming back on September 9th. I will be shooting a last minute fabulous wedding of a beautiful couple in Moscow, Russia. I am getting really excited! The last time I was in Moscow in 2002 when I went there to receive a “Photographer of the Year” Award. Aga of Aga Images is coming with me to help me out. Thank you Aga! I can’t tell you much yet ( you know how it is with celebrity weddings ) but I promise it is going to be a spectacular one! Stay tuned.

Few days ago I had an assignment to cover The Children’s Health Fund (CHF), co-founded by singer/songwriter Paul Simon and pediatrician/child advocate Irwin Redlener, M.D
Jennifer Lopez was there as well as her husband Marc Anthony.
A week ago I shot a Dior fashion show assignment for “Fashion Wire Daily”. Charlize Theron was there and I absolutely admire her looks and talent. She is SO gorgeous! I think she liked me too as I felt she was posing just for me. Perhaps because I was the only female shooter or because I was wearing Prada and Essey Miake not the jeans as the rest of the shooters
